China Business Missions to BRICS--2025 BPIC Industry Matchmaking Event (China-Ethiopia) was successfully held in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia, on 26th, September. Co-hosted by BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center (BPIC) and Ethiopian Ministry of Industry, this Event attracted approximately 150 representatives from governments, businesses, and media of both countries, who witnessed the signing of collaborative projects.

The venue buzzed with discussions, with representatives from both countries presenting their core business activities and enterprises engaging in in-depth discussions to explore cooperation opportunities.

BPIC and China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation. The two parties would explore the joint development of a platform to support companies expanding overseas, to fuel the entry of Chinese and other BRICS businesses into Ethiopian market.

Xiamen C&D Life Materials Co., Ltd. signed strategic coffee bean supply agreements with two Ethiopian companies: Tracon Trading PLC and Kerchanshe Group respectively.

Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd. signed an Ethiopia Completely Knocked Down minibus procurement agreement with Belayneh Kindie Group.

Launched in Xiamen, Fujian in 2020, BPIC aims to build a practical cooperation platform for BRICS countries. Over the past five years, BPIC built “Industry Matchmaking Event” into a brand, which has staged almost 100 events in Beijing, Moscow, Rio de Janeiro, Cairo, Addis Ababa and other cities.

Going forward, BPIC will hold two brand activities regularly – “BRICS Business Missions to China” and “China Business Missions to BRICS” – to turn BPIC into a key platform of high-quality development of “Greater BRICS Cooperation”.
