The “BPIC Project Matchmaking Event – Special Session on Industrial Green Development and Digitalization” was successfully held in Xiamen on the afternoon of 18 September. As a flagship economic and trade event created by BPIC, the event this year focused on green innovation and digitalization, offering an efficient and practical platform for 30 government officials, scholars, and entrepreneurs from BRICS and “BRICS+” countries (22 nations in total), facilitating matchmaking with representatives from 20 Chinese enterprises.

During the roadshow, five enterprises with leading advantages in green technology and digital solutions shared their cutting-edge technologies and project cases, demonstrating innovative practices of Chinese enterprises in green and digital sectors.

Officials and scholars from Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Iran, Bangladesh and Indonesia then took the floor respectively to introduce their policy support and market opportunities in green development, digitalization and technical cooperation, signaling a strong willingness to cooperate.

In the free networking session, participants engaged in one-on-one discussions across various fields, including project collaboration, technical exchange, and market expansion, on the basis of their specific technological needs and complementary resources. They expressed intentions for further in-depth discussions to strive for potential cooperation agreements.

The matchmaking event was hosted by the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center. Serving as a key side event for the 2025 BPIC Training Program on Industrial Green Development and Digitalization, it not only built a direct channel for domestic enterprises to reach international resources, but injected fresh momentum into new-industrial cooperation among BRICS countries.
