On August 12, local time, the 13th BRICS Ministers of Agriculture Meeting was held in South Africa’s Limpopo Province, under the theme of “strengthening collaborations towards sustainable agricultural production and increasing productivity”. Tang Renjian, Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, led a delegation to the meeting and delivered a keynote speech.

The 13th Meeting of BRICS Ministers of Agriculture and the BRICS Symposium on Rural Development were hosted by Angela Thoko Didiza, Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development of South Africa, which were attended by representatives from the agricultural departments of the five BRICS countries. The meeting adopted the “Joint Declaration of the 13th Meeting of BRICS Ministers of Agriculture”.
