Algerian Business Giant Cevital Group’s Senior Delegation Visits BPIC

On the afternoon of February 10, with the facilitation of China General Technology Group (GENERTEC), a senior delegation from Cevital Group, one of Algeria’s leading business giants, visited the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center (BPIC) for discussions and exchanges.


Cevital Group is one of Algeria’s most prominent private enterprises, with business operations spanning multiple sectors including construction machinery, agriculture, food, construction, petrochemicals, and transportation. This visit aims to strengthen bilateral communication and cooperation across various fields, and allows both parties to explore new business opportunities together.


During the meeting, Jiang Qingsheng, the executive deputy director-general of the Xiamen BPIC Office, provided a detailed introduction to the construction and development advantages of the BPIC, as well as its efforts to promote cooperation among BRICS countries. He also acknowledged Cevital Group’s commercial achievements in Algeria and expressed hope for complementary advantages in future cooperation to jointly expand markets.
Omar Rebrab, a senior executive of Cevital Group, shared the company’s development achievements and showed strong interest in the advancement of the BPIC. He hopes to leverage the center’s resources to enhance cooperation with Chinese enterprises, particularly in the food industry and ultra-pure water sectors. He also expressed intentions to establish a company in Xiamen to foster business exchanges and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Organized by the Xiamen BPIC Office, the delegation also engaged in economic and trade exchanges with local manufacturing enterprises and their subsidiaries. Both sides held enthusiastic discussions and reached preliminary cooperation intentions.
