Sharing Comprehensive Achievements in Chinese Path to Modernization
On December 4th, the “Workshop for Members of Global Development Promotion Center Network” organized by the Chinese government, was successfully completed in Beijing. The workshop was held for members of the Global Development Promotion Center Network, and designed as a foreign aid training project to deepen understanding of the Global Development Initiative and exchange governance experiences. The workshop lasted for 7 days and the curriculum was carefully structured around the Global Development Initiative. 30 participants from 17 countries, including Hon. Asterio Appi, M.P., Minister for Education, Climate Change and National Resilience, Land Management, Nauru Air Corporation, Naoero Postal Services Corporation of Nauru, and Hon. Daren Pinard, Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour, Public Service Reform, Social Partnership, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Development of Dominica.
The workshop opened in Fuzhou, with participants discussing on the “Chinese Practice” of sustainable development with domestic experts and scholars in green development field in Fuzhou, Xiamen, and Beijing in a variety of learning formats, such as on-site lectures, exchange visits, and enterprise symposiums. During the workshop, participants systematically studied Xi Jinping thought on ecological conservation and learned China’s green development policies. They visited Liangcuo Village in Fuzhou City to appreciate the green development concept of harmonious coexistence between mankind and nature. In Xiamen, participants engaged in deep exchanges with environmental protection companies, experiencing the international cooperation potential of the “Xiamen practice”. The workshop also included visits to leading e-commerce companies like JD Group, where participants explored technological innovation and digital development driven by new quality productive forces, offering a comprehensive view of achievements in Chinese path to modernization.
