On May 28, the 2026 BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center Industrial Project Matchmaking Event (2026 BPIC Project Matchmaking Event) was successfully held at the BRICS Industrial Cooperation and Go-Global Comprehensive Service Hub. Zhuang Rongliang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, Vice-Mayor of Xiamen, and Director General of the BRICS Innovation Center, and Chen Biao, Deputy Director General of the International Economic and Technical Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the event and delivered speeches. More than 200 participants, including representatives of BRICS countries' diplomatic missions in China, government officials, heads of official industrial promotion institutions, experts, scholars and representatives of enterprises going global and industry organizations, gathered to jointly explore new opportunities for “Greater BRICS Cooperation”.

As the first industrial project matchmaking event held since the BRICS Industrial Cooperation and Go-Global Comprehensive Service Hub entered trial operation, the event centered on international business promotion, ecosystem building and targeted business matchmaking. Leveraging the platform advantages of BPIC, it precisely matched resources for enterprises from BRICS and “BRICS+” economies to advance mutual empowerment.

The event also featured ceremonies marking the establishment of ApexBrasil’s (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency) presence at the Comprehensive Service Hub and the joint development of the Comprehensive Service Hub’s go-global ecosystem by go-global ecosystem partners.
