On the morning of September 8, during the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), the Luckin Coffee China-Brazil BRICS-themed pavilion, jointly built by Luckin Coffee and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), officially opened. With coffee as a bridge, China and Brazil are exploring deeper industrial cooperation.

Inside the themed pavilion, Brazilian coffee beans, Luckin Coffee’s coffee culture, and the achievements of China-Brazil cooperation are collectively on display.

From coffee bean procurement to origin partnerships and cultural exchanges, Luckin Coffee has been advancing China-Brazil cooperation in the coffee sector. In 2024, Luckin Coffee signed a memorandum of understanding with ApexBrasil for the procurement of Brazilian coffee beans worth tens of billions of yuan, marking the largest procurement deal in Luckin Coffee’s history. At this year’s CIFIT, the two sides jointly built the themed pavilion, offering global business representatives a more vivid view of the China-Brazil cooperation behind a cup of coffee.

In May this year, ApexBrasil set up an office in Xiamen. With CIFIT serving as a global platform for two-way investment promotion, Brazilian coffee has forged stronger ties with the Chinese market. Meanwhile, China-Brazil cooperation is expanding beyond one-way trade into areas including industry, branding and culture.
