Xiamen’s First 2.7 billion Token Deal Successfully Reaches a BRICS Country!

Recently, leveraging a domestically developed large language model (LLM), Xiamen successfully completed the entire end to end process for exporting AI token services overseas, achieving full alignment of technology, business operations, and compliance. The city’s first overseas AI token deal was successfully implemented in a BRICS member country, Ethiopia.
The first client was an Ethiopian cross-border e-commerce livestreaming enterprise. Delivered through standardized AI token services, the solution provides ready-to-use AI-powered productivity tools. By consuming tokens, the client can access AI inference services including multilingual video translation and production, voice cloning, real-time subtitle translation, and multilingual dubbing. The transaction volume of this inaugural deal reached 2.7 billion tokens.
“The successful implementation of this inaugural deal has validated the feasibility of the business model,” said the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology. Xiamen will take this opportunity to further optimize services and improve the industrial ecosystem, enabling more enterprises to go global with greater ease.
