To deepen the development of the BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Innovation Center (BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center) and deliver concrete results for BRICS cooperation projects, Ke Haitao, Deputy Director of the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center, recently led a team to conduct a series of inspections and research. Centering on the BPIC's next key priorities, the delegation visited various enterprises, institutions, and industrial parks in Xiamen.

Focusing on strengthening platform cooperation mechanisms, the delegation visited the China-BRICS Science and Innovation Incubation Park for the New Era (China-BRICS SIIP) and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Xiamen Committee (CCPIT Xiamen). Discussions were held on leveraging platform resources—such as the series of events under the BRICS Forum on Partnership on New Industrial Revolution and the "SU SONG Cup" Future Industrial Technology Innovation Competition—to accelerate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements and the implementation of projects. By utilizing CCPIT Xiamen’s domestic and international cooperation resources, the visits aimed to provide pathways for enterprises to go global and expand into overseas markets, thereby jointly building a network for coordinated development.

Targeting key industries and enterprise needs, the team visited the Xiamen Cardiovascular Hospital of Xiamen University (XCH) and Xiamen OGAWA Smart Healthcare Equipment Co., Ltd. They learned about the hospital's international cooperation projects and the enterprise's expansion into overseas markets. Furthermore, they exchanged views on how the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center can better coordinate resources and channels to serve industrial development, providing a design basis for the conceptualization of the BRICS Going-Global Service Port.

Exploring the development of technology-empowered platforms, the delegation visited the Sino-Russian Digital Economy Research Center and the Siming Intelligent Computing Center. The visits sought to explore how to rely on the resource-integration functions of the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center to foster a sustainable digital economy cooperation model. Efforts were also discussed to advance the sharing of computing resources among BRICS countries, implement artificial intelligence application projects overseas, and build an intelligent support platform for BRICS cooperation.

This series of inspections covered key areas including scientific and technological innovation, the digital economy, smart healthcare, intelligent manufacturing, and economic and trade services. It enhanced mutual understanding between the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center and various sectors, laying a solid foundation for building a multi-tiered and broad-based BRICS cooperation network. Going forward, the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center will continue to promote the integration of resources and the matchmaking of projects among all parties, advancing the development of the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center to achieve substantive and solid progress.
