Participants of the BRICS Countries Ocean Comprehensive Management for Promoting Sustainable Ocean Economy Development Training Program Visit BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center (BPIC)
From July 17 to July 30, 2024, the 'BRICS Countries Ocean Comprehensive Management for Promoting Sustainable Ocean Economy Development Training Program' was held in Xiamen. On the afternoon of July 19, over 20 participants from countries such as Egypt and South Africa visited the BPIC, accompanied by Chen Zezhao, Deputy Director of the BPIC.
At the BPIC exhibition hall, the participants learned about the key areas of work in policy coordination, personnel training, and project development of the center, as well as Xiamen's efforts and achievements in promoting practical cooperation within BRICS and the 'BRICS+' framework.
Chen Zezhao welcomed the participants and expressed her hope that this exchange and discussion with BRICS and 'BRICS+' participants in Xiamen, would serve as an opportunity to promote the establishment of 'blue partnerships' among BRICS countries and advance BRICS cooperation in a more profound and practical way.
