With the 7th BRICS Policy Lecture Kicking off, Experts Looked forward to New Prospects for China-Brazil Cooperation

On the morning of April 13, during Brazilian President Lulas official visit to China, the 7th BRICS Policy Lecture at the BRICS Innovation Base officially kicked off.


In this lecture, Chai Yu, the director of the Latin American Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, a second-level researcher, and a doctoral supervisor, presented a wonderful and professional lecture on the theme of The Situation in Latin America and the Prospect of China-Brazil Cooperation.


In the lecture, Director Chai Yu conducted a comprehensive analysis of the basic situation and developmental history of the Latin American region, focused on the goals, challenges, current situation and positioning of China-Brazil economic and trade cooperation, and put forward suggestions on the future cooperation ideas and prospects of China-Brazil.


At the end of the lecture, director Chai Yu and researcher Zhou Zhiwei, director of the Brazilian Research Center of the Institute of Latin America, shared their views on the questions raised by netizens about the expansion of the BRICS countries.
